Introduction

IoT has opened new avenues in different fields. IoT’s practical usage can be tracked in Smart Cities, Data Analytics, barcode wearables like fitbit bands and automated cars.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly known as BMW, is a German multinational corporation. It goes by the slogan “Sheer Driving Pleasure” which has unfolded itself over the years . Widely known by its acronym BMW is giving tough competition to manufacturing leader Tesla.

The term ‘pleasure’ came up for the first time in the 1930s, specially in BMW ads. It produces luxury motorcycles and other vehicles.

What does the record say?

The estimation says that BMW is likely to be affected by an acute shortage of semiconductors in the second half of 2021. However, it has recorded a profit of 4.8 billion euros already.

They have been able to manage throughout this global semiconductor shortage period but now they anticipate the coming effects.  According to TechXplore, the financial director, Nicholas Peter stated, “The longer the supply bottlenecks last, the more tense the situation is likely to become” and they “expect production restrictions to continue in the second half of the year and hence a corresponding impact on sales volumes.”

The record says, according to BMW, that the earnings from the month of June to April came to light just because a fine of one billion euros ($1.2 billion) had come from the European competition authorities in the month of July and it was below what was expected before.

There was a steep increase in sales as the economy has made a great comeback and this in turn also made an increment in the figures statistically.

For this year, the operating margin ranges from seven to nine percent and is predicted to touch the “upper end” whereas the range that was expected before lies between six to eight percent.

In the first half of this year, the figure touched 13 percent whereas for the year 2020, the estimated figure came up to be above the figure of negative four percent.

Volkswagen, commonly known as VW, is a German motor vehicle manufacturer. The term ‘Volkswagen’ is a German word which means “people”. That means, “Volkswagen” means “people’s car”.

So, Brussels issued both BMW and Volkswagen for conniving “on the development of anti-pollution technology for diesel cars.”, as TechXplore says. On the other hand, Dailmer, a German multinational automotive corporation, took part in it but they reported to the authorities. So, Dailmer was spared any kind of penalties for the same.

The revenue rose by 43 percent from the month of April to June and again, an increment by 28 percent to 55.4 billion euros in the first six months.
