Di Lorio’s reasons for quitting the industry are clear, he wants to focus on the bigger world problems. He believes cryptocurrency plays a very small part in the major picture; there are several issues that need immediate attention according to him. He also feels that the crypto world is unsafe.
In a candid interview he said he feels like there are so many issues that people need to focus on. He wants to be something more than just a crypto guy. This decision is seen as an early crypto warning for investors. After back to back setbacks this decision might push back the crypto industry further.
Lorio will sell his part in Decentral, a blockchain startup he has founded. He will sell his stake for fiat and equity. He is not looking forward to crypto transactions anymore. Digital currency world is faltering amid climate crisis and security concerns.
According to Business Insider Di Iorio’s exit comes within days of Dogecoin co-founder Jackson Palmer dropping a similar bombshell on Twitter, clarifying that he has no plans, whatsoever, to return to cryptocurrencies.
