ISRO’s new courses on Web GIS Technology and Earth Observation guarantee a free certificate

Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) has announced two free courses on Web GIS Technology and Earth Observation  that are open for enrollments. Both the courses guarantee a certificate of achievement and are open for everyone who is a keen learner and wishes to  learn more about the environment and technology.

 

Web GIS Technology Course

 

The interactive course on Web GIS will cover the topics related to Client Server Systems GIS Technology. Basic Introduction to HTML, Javascript and SQL will be included in the course content.

Earth Observation Course for Carbon Cycle Studies

 

Course on Earth Observation(EO) for Carbon Cycle studies is developed to help people learn more about carbon modelling. It will enable people to understand the agro ecosystems. The course will cover content related to the carbon cycle’s role in the ecosystem, carbon scale assessments and ways to upscale and model carbon fluxes.
