How fascinating it is to travel the world in an electric SUV.It neither worries  the environment as it produces zero emissions nor worries you  with the statutory warnings of the car might stop as it needs a  petrol refill.Just plugging the charger in and hurrah!the car is ready to roll.

If the possibility of owning an electric car fascinates you wait no more.

Toyota the pioneer in the automobile industry has unravelled the newest model of electric car i.e.SUV(model bZ4X).Although Mercedes (EQ)model and Jaguar’s (I-PACE) have already acquired a  decent market share but Toyota’s model is cost effective.

Electric car

Simply put electric cars make use of electrical energy that is stored in batteries as fuel. Induction motors, inverter and  battery are three major components of an electric car.

How does an Electric car works

An electric car’s motor consists of a rotor and stator which is given the Alternating Current in the polls. The AC in the polls produces RMS (four pole magnetic field)which is further responsible for the electromagnetic field of an  electric car.

Inverter is the brain of an electric car(or EV). It is the most crucial part as it plays a major role in regenerative braking of the induction motor.

The induction motor acts as a generator by ensuring that rotor speed is greater than the RMF speed.Electric cars major energy powerhouse is a battery and electrical energy stored in the batteries provide the electricity to the car.

Battery packs can be termed as the real game changer of an electric car.Battery is tightly held together in the series of small cells. The major reason behind the usage of small cells is that they rapidly cool down the battery which further increases its lifespan.

The inverter converts the direct current it receives from the battery into alternating current (AC)that is required to drive the steering wheel of an electric car.Although electricity cannot be stored the batteries of the car store electrical energy the electrical energy provides fuel to the electric car the way petrol provides fuel to a traditional model.

According to HT auto,by the year 2025 Toyota plans to introduce 15EVs including seven “bz models globally said Toyota’s Chief Technology Officer  Masahiko Maeda.bz in the future models stand for beyond zero.
