NVIDIA introduces latest chips, aims to speed up AI computing with new technology

At an online conference by its AI developers on March 22, Tuesday, Nvidia Corp (NVDA.O) introduced the latest chips and technologies which, the platform claims, will enhance the speed of computing for complex AI algorithms, intensifying the battle against competitor chipmaker platforms.
Having initially started off as a graphics processing unit producing platform, NVIDIA is now recognized for both its realistic video game graphics and also for reigning over the world of AI chips.
As reported by Economic Times, H100 was one of the chips that was released. The platform pointed out that H100 can aid in minimizing the computing times from weeks to days in case of training AI models.
Nvidia will join hands with its contract manufacturer, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. to produce the chips. The company’s Chief Executive Jensen Huan adds that the platform’s NVLink high-speed communication pathway, allows customers to link up 256 H100 chips to each other into "essentially one mind-blowing GPU,", as reported by CNET.
Yet another chip that was released was Grace CPU Superchip, a new central processing unit for exclusive data-center computing. The Grace CPU Superchip is based on Arm Technology. This is six weeks after the platform’s deal to purchase Arm slumped.
Apart from these latest chips, Nvidia has also introduced its new supercomputer "Eos", which is based on the fourth-generation DGX system. The platform claims that this supercomputer will emerge as the fastest AI system in the world, once it starts operating at some point in this year.
