Xiaomi launches Smart Glasses with advanced features

Xiaomi is the leading manufacturer of smartphones, LCDs and LEDs the company’s total revenue reached 76.9 billion in the year 2021. As the new advancements are slowly giving a boon to the tech sector Xiaomi is also constantly upgrading its existing technologies to give tough competition to Samsung and Apple.

 

Xiaomi has recently launched immersive billboards in various landmarks located in China. Now keeping in pace with its recent series of developments Xioami has unveiled its new product the all new Xiaomi glasses.

 

Smart Glasses are shiny wearable devices that come packed with multiple features. These smart glasses are a combination of imaging systems and smart sensors. The glasses are lightweight and weigh 51 grams.

 

Though lightweight, the glasses are still heavy in their performance. Glasses can display a variety of messages, they can be used to make calls, navigation, capturing photographs and text translations. These compact glasses can be carried from one place to another hassle free.

People can now check messages via a simple click on the smart glass screen, checking notifications and other changes are just a click away. Smart Glasses will leverage the advantages of modern day technologies, the microLED based imaging will enable better displays and screen resolutions.  

 

The Built

 

Glasses are built with the functionalities of a smartphone, they are independent devices and can be used even as a standalone device. The display chip measures 2.4mm*2.2mm. 

 

To make the display better, makers have opted for an ultra efficient monochrome display solution. Glasses are composed of 497 small components. It can be used along with a smartphone and the device is also perfect to be a standalone.

 

It can be used for finding a way amidst difficult terrain, taking photos, translating texts and more.  The smart device also has an AI assistant that can aid it in several tasks.

The AI assistant will further function as a primary tool for interaction. The smart tool can display information as and when needed. Smart Glasses can squeeze out most important notifications, it displays all the important notifications on the main screen.

 

Smart Glasses have embedded speakers and a microphone, the beamforming microphone will pave the way for easy communication. It will have a 5MP front camera, for taking snapshots. Photographs can also be used for translations in real time.

As reported by TechXplore, Xiaomi notes that by creating a pair of smart eyeglasses, the company is seeking to produce a device to replace the smartphone—one that does not require being carried around in a pocket or holster.
