Apple Inc will present its own online shop on Sep 23, 2020, in India, and getting the benefit of a 2019 legislation which makes facilitated norms for single-brand retailers in order to do market for Indian consumers via Physical and online modes.

Apart from this, the manufacturer of iPhones and iPads will come out as one of the latest foreign companies to originate its online across the country. Earlier, to launch any company-owned physical outlet was the pre-condition to sell online before August 2019 relaxation of rules. (Source)
Deirdre O’Brien who is senior vice president of retail at Apple Inc stated that we are very excited after having such opportunity in order to link with our customers straightforwardly along with the excellent network of the reseller in India for across 20 years, she added further “we observe it in terms of the amazing possibility for our relationship with customers and make new customers for Apple.”
In the present condition, Amazon and Flipkart reckon around 30% sales of iPhone in India, as shown by industry officials. Among the largest e-commerce rivals, both the companies and authorized retailers will continue in dealing with Apple products. However, Apple will not provide any such launching discounts while buying by its online store, but shoppers are expected to receive some cash back, exclusive gift packaging as alternatives and EMI as a payment option on credit cards.
The company also confirmed to bound with Blue Dart Express for next day delivery across metro cities, two to three days shipments in more than 12,000 PIN code regions where the Cupertino-based tech giant will provide services to its online customers around the country.
