Three years after Tom Stevens developed a realistic dog named Jennie, the Chinese developers were putting in excruciating hours to find a better resolution. Looks like the next best robo dog is in the market.

 

The alpha dog developed by two of China’s top-tech companies is a dream come true for tech geeks. Ma Jie, the chief technology officer at Weilan says that the alpha dog  is very similar to a real dog.

Not only the tech geeks of the world have set their eyes on this new invention the children are pretty excited to witness the evolution of robo dogs.The robo dog uses sensors to react, performs autonomously and reacts quickly as its based on the 5G technology.

 

A real dog can run at an average speed of 48 kilometres per hour the company had put its best competitive edge in the market and the alpha dog (known as hound) is the fastest robo dog in the world with an average speed of 15 kilometres per hour. Its visual sensors allow it to customize its body and let it adapt in accordance with the circumstances.

 

According to Deccan Herald only within its first month of sales more than 1,800 alpha dogs have been successfully sold despite the hefty price tag of 16,000yuan.($2,400)

The alpha dog can sense what’s happening in its surrounding environment with its sensors moreon AI enables the dog to take actions by predicting the friction and height of the ground.

 

A basic testing video tutorial showed that the alpha dog was able to dodge barriers by adjusting its height frequency. The dog can not only see but can even hear and react due to AI.

 

The alpha dog (named hound)reaction time is  quick as compared to its other competitors in the market. The alpha dog can be controlled by a remote controller or a tablet by  the software developers who are excited to use this invention for the various progressions in the field of science.
